Summary

Citrus-Lime developed the new Warrington Wolves Online Store. The project involved:

  • Using the existing design and branding from their website to dress a customised version of our ecommerce platform, Citrus-Store 2.0;
  • Working with Warrington Wolves existing web designers to ensure that from a customer perspective, moving between the non-ecommerce and ecommerce parts of the site is seamless;
  • Optimising the layout of the new ecommerce section using our knowledge and expertise;
  • Integrating the ecommerce site with their existing order processing and stock control software, based on Microsoft Retail Management System;
  • Advice on Marketing and on-going promotions;
  • Training to ensure Warrington Wolves were able to confidently and efficiently make use of the system.

The project was not typical of the work our design team usually undertake - where they are responsible for the design and branding of the whole site - but was successfully achieved and provided Warrington Wolves with a cost effective and quick method of bringing ecommerce to their existing website.

Background

Citrus-Lime had an existing relationship with Warrington Wolves as provider of their epos and stock control system, which has been successfully in use in the Wolves Store for some time. As they were happily using our Microsoft RMS epos and stock control system and were aware of our integrated ecommerce expertise, when it came to introducing online sales to their website they came to talk to Citrus-Lime.
