The Background

 Established in 2006, Working Class Heroes has grown rapidly from a local fashion retailer, bringing their select product ranges to a wider, multichannel, market with the help of Citrus-Lime's integrated EPOS and Ecommerce solutions.

Working alongside the guys at Working Class Heroes, we outlined the following key objectives:

• Establish a multichannel platform for retailing product in a stock-controlled manner
• Design an integrated Ecommerce site and develop the Working Class Heroes branding
• Integrate with Amazon Seller Central to handle stock control, order management and auto listing/delisiting

The Solution

Microsoft Dynamics RMS 2.0 provides the solid foundation for all our modular EPOS solutions. Deployed on robust and stylish touch screen till units from Aures, this software handles a range of core functionality from point-of-sale through to stock management and a basic reporting suite. 

On the Ecommerce side Workingclassheroes.com is a great example of striking the balance between sleek, user-friendly, design and feature rich functionality:

• Brand Selector and CSS Navigation provide a solid foundation for intuitive site browsing with Better Search, our advanced filter and search tool, enabling customers to locate products efficiently
• Multiple Image Viewer, Dynamic Image Resizer and Deep Zoom work together to create product pages that are interactive and dynamic, improving the customer shopping experience and product exposure
• Grid View allows single product pages to clearly display stock availability on multiple Matrix variants (size/colour options of a single product)
• Out of Stock notifications help secure future sales when items run out of stock, informing a customer via email when this product becomes available for purchase and encouraging return traffic to the site
• Simple Content Manager (CMS) enables the team at Working Class Heroes to manage sections of the site to keep their content fresh, relevant and SEO optimised

The Amazon Module unites our EPOS system with Amazon Seller Central, this is managed via Merchant Tools, the backoffice interface of Citrus-Store. Products are automatically listed/delisted according to stock availability and resulting orders are imported directly into the EPOS system for processing, minimising the micro-management of the Amazon sales channel.
